I’m enjoying a much needed vacation. Visiting my daughter and her family on the west coast. Of course I still have to art- it’s in my soul. These are two 11×14 paintings I completed in the last ten relaxing days.
I am so excited at the fact that I am moving my art studio out of my kitchen. Since my daughter recently moved into her own apartment, I am able to switch bedrooms around in my home. Bless my husband for figuring out how to fit my king size bed into the one front bedroom. This will free up my old room, which is around 10ft x 25ft, to be my new art studio. Will post a picture when I’m done. There’s a lot of work to be done and I’m very excited. Stay tuned.
Decided I didn’t like clouds. Since this aircraft was built at the”Skunk Works” facility somewhere in the desert I thought that might be fitting. Still a long way from being done
I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the Intrepid Air and Space Museum in New York with family for my grandson’s 16th birthday. My grandson favorite plane is the SR-17 Blackbird and this one will be for him.
I need to learn how to work on my own happiness, instead of everyone else’s, and I don’t think I am the only one that feels that way. I decided that will be a new goal and painting is my happy place. Today I get the thrill of going on a road trip to the Brandywine Museum of Art with my sister in law. I also wanted to share what I’m working on. It does not yet have a name and there is still a lot of work to be done. I think it will become part of a new silhouette series.
Hello everyone I had picture a painting on here that I called ”Guarding Dinner” that featured a bald eagle perched in a tree, wings spread wide, holding a fish is his talons. I chose to donate that piece to an auction for NOVA (Network of Victims Assistance). Please check out the link below and see all the wonderful art and artisan creations they have up for auction. It is a great cause.
