Complete- “Murder Mystery Dinner”. Extremely happy with how this came out.

I started this today and I’m really pleased. This came about when I went in the drive through of a popular coffee shop on my way home from work. Has I pulled away from window, I had to pull into lot to get things organized for my drive. This put me directly in front of the dumpster. There were five or six crows taking turns jumping in for a meal and I was inspired. Strange I know. I still have to do some details and add the crows but I am happy with it. It will be called “Murder Mystery Dinner”
This little grouse has been sitting unfinished in my studio for almost a year. I felt very motivated to finish it when I completed my polar bear painting.
Trying to be a full time artist who still has to work a day job to pay bills is hard. Finding time to paint can sometimes be a struggle but I am working on it. I managed to do a little on my polar bear and I am liking how it’s turning out.
I was watching a documentary on polar bears and was very inspired to paint one. I’m in between commissions so I decided to go for it. I started taking pictures of my tv so I had a clue on how to paint one and I came up with this. I think I’m going to call it …..
I’m enjoying a much needed vacation. Visiting my daughter and her family on the west coast. Of course I still have to art- it’s in my soul. These are two 11×14 paintings I completed in the last ten relaxing days.
I am so excited at the fact that I am moving my art studio out of my kitchen. Since my daughter recently moved into her own apartment, I am able to switch bedrooms around in my home. Bless my husband for figuring out how to fit my king size bed into the one front bedroom. This will free up my old room, which is around 10ft x 25ft, to be my new art studio. Will post a picture when I’m done. There’s a lot of work to be done and I’m very excited. Stay tuned.
Decided I didn’t like clouds. Since this aircraft was built at the”Skunk Works” facility somewhere in the desert I thought that might be fitting. Still a long way from being done
